It’s ice veggie season again It’s so juicy and savory. Interested to know if it’s considered a leafy green veggie or is it a savory fruit like cucumbers and tomatoes? ☺
I read here that bananas are, either the only, or one of the few fruits that ripen off the vine. But pineapples, passionfruit, mangos, tomatoes, breadfruit, papaya, soursap, jackfruit, limes, oranges and more all do here. It’s much harder to find a fruit that doesn’t. Am I missing something?!
I have 36 fresh (non-organic) red tomatoes and 12 heads of mixed lettuce (some organic some not). I can’t eat them all before they go bad. Should I juice the tomatoes and lettuce?
UK Fruit & Lettuce shortage. It seems to be that only the cheap fruit and lettuce that has no real flavour because it has been picked early is in short supply. This tends to be purchased by people on the standard diet, who have no knowledge of fresh produce, and are looking to save some
Hai all. I was wondering. When growing your own food like tomatoes etc. When is the right time to pick them from the ground /tree? Many believe that tomatoes for eg should be picked almost red…mostly still green. May I have some clarity on this please?
