I’ve heard the sun and the beach are generally more acidic environments. If that’s true, why are they recommended for health (aside from the commonly accepted need for vitamin D)? Is it true we need vitamin D just not the isolated pill kind? More below

When people make these claims, what is their explanation for why they believe these are more acidic environments?

We need sunlight. There is no way to isolate anything from the rays of the sun, trace their effect in vivo (inside the body) then create an isolated substance to replicate the sun. Vitamin D is not the sun, it is an isolated chemical substance.
