We are used to eating greens like lettuce, kale, cauliflower, etc. But what about the greens we call weeds, which are everywhere and which we usually fight when they are in our gardens?
These “weeds” have survived everything without our care or worse. They should be a great food then, right? Unless to survive they have developed a poison that is not good for us?

Terrain answer:

Your taste buds are part of your defensive system. If the greens taste bitter or spicy that is your senses telling you that a substance is toxic. We eat sweet greens and avoid the bitter and spicy ones.
